I have searched high and low in every box I came home with and can't find the list that had only 2 names and their email addresses needing instructions for the album kit we sold at the CKC in St Louis. If you are one of the 2 please email me and let me know!

Also, we are looking for Pat Sweeney that attended our Recipe Book class on Saturday. We have her email, but don't think she is getting them......Pat are you out there?

We had a wonderful time in St Louis, and we can't wait for Tulsa and Kansas City......so if you missed us in St Louis, try to catch up with us there!

A Boys Life

This is the cover for one of our classes at Creating Keepsakes Convention in St. Louis sponsored by Oriental Trading Company on April 3&4. This was so much fun to make and got to play with some GREAT products....those embellies on the cover...those are FELT!! They just made me happy! If you take this class, you might try to bring you own paper piercer, needle, and zig-zag scissors, but we will have plenty of extras to borrow if you forget! :)

We will post the picture of the girl album in a bit. Just wanted to go ahead and share the boy book....the inside is just stinking cute, we have lots of ideas packed into this book....so yes be ready for a fast paced class...but guess what, no painting....well, one little chipboard star will be painted yellow...but that is it....how can you not put just a little paint on this book! :)

Why are we so lucky?

Because we have 2 great companies sponsoring us for Creating Keepsakes Conventions 2008!

1. Oriental Trading Company, if you have not checked them out recently you need to take time to look around... they have the latest and greatest in new products, a fantastic line of papers and the nicest bunch of people you could ever imagine working with. Happy Birthday to Darby!!!

Just wanted to wish Darby a Happy Birthday. Its a day late.....I completely thought today was the 22nd...not the 23rd.....oops! So guess I should say..Happy Birthday and a day! :)

So, anxious for the weekend, check back soon, Darby and I are getting together to work on lots of stuff...so there will be pictures of all kinds of goodies posted over the weekend......Sassafras classes, Oriental Trading classes, kits, just all kinds of cool stuff.

Just spoke with Sassafras Lass about the door prizes they are sending us for CKC......oh my are they going to send us some great stuff....their stuff is...um...PURE DELIGHT ;)

So, off to get things packed and loaded up for my scrappy weekend with Darby. Going to stop and see some family on the way, drop off some "Chilly" kits at the Scrapbook Store, and catch up chatting with a great friend.....all things happy! Then Sunday, back home... Sunday is John and my 13th Anniversary...wow! So, it is gonna be a great weekend :)

We finally got to meet Lindsey while we where in Tulsa....yeah I know...this was a while back...but we are still excited about it! We had a super looonnng lunch, bounced ideas and thoughts and lots of laughing.....Lindsey you are great...and we can't wait to meet up with you again and hopefully soon Melissa and Mary!

Welcome to the new blog of Paper Kandi Co!!! I hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and getting ready for a Happy New Year! We are just about to get all things transferred over, but thought I would go ahead and welcome everyone. Blogger is going to make things easier for both of us to be more active in blogging, so yes you will be hearing more from us! No more MONTHS without seeing something new.

What have we been up to? We are busy planning our next round of classes at the Creating Keepsakes Conventions....please see the dates on the right of the blog. Want to know what our classes are....check them out here for the St Louis classes....we are so excited about our classes this year. We asked all of our classes last year what they would like to see and we really hope we satisfied the requests. We have an awesome fun new sponsor this year in addition to our super incredible sponsor Oriental Trading Company. Those gals are just incredible and we are so lucky to have them in our corner! We will be teaching MULTIPLE classes with their products and well....we can't wait to show them off!! The other fab company that has agreed to sponsor us this year? Sassafras Lass!!!
