A Boys Life

This is the cover for one of our classes at Creating Keepsakes Convention in St. Louis sponsored by Oriental Trading Company on April 3&4. This was so much fun to make and got to play with some GREAT products....those embellies on the cover...those are FELT!! They just made me happy! If you take this class, you might try to bring you own paper piercer, needle, and zig-zag scissors, but we will have plenty of extras to borrow if you forget! :)

We will post the picture of the girl album in a bit. Just wanted to go ahead and share the boy book....the inside is just stinking cute, we have lots of ideas packed into this book....so yes be ready for a fast paced class...but guess what, no painting....well, one little chipboard star will be painted yellow...but that is it....how can you not put just a little paint on this book! :)

Spring Fever

Is it too early to have it? The sometimes correct weather men say it is going to be 65 on Saturday and Sunday, but Monday... alas it might snow. I don't want snow, I want 65 degree days, I want to ride my New Pink Bike. I want warm breezes and sunny days.

DO you think that if we all clicked our heels together and said "We need a sunny day" that it might just happen.

Oh well, better just enjoy what we are getting.

Scrap Nook Retreat

I am really getting excited about the retreat. It will be a nice little vacation for me before Spring Break. I have been getting layouts together and hope to finish up my Disney Album.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! :)

Hope everyone is having a sweet one! So, what have we been up to? Besides freezing you mean? Darby has been without power for a couple of days due to ice, and still no cable or internet! ugh!!! Just been crazy insane cold here. Really, this cold weather...so over it!

We are still waiting on a couple of things before posting more samples....sorry to leave you hanging on the Oriental Trading class samples......but they will be sooooo worth it! we promise!! ;)

Kits....yes been working on those. Took this one to Susie at The Scrapbook Store

I have lots more kits to be working on as well. Got some to do for Sheri at the ScrapNook also...yeah!! So be watching for those...I will let you know when they are sent! :)

I have been having fun seeing what all the new stuff coming from CHA will be.....some really great things looks like. I see shopping in my future!

Have lots of projects going on at once and the mojo just left me.....but I am trying to work through it.....I have something big that was promised a while back ready to go....just need the packaging details fine tuned and will be putting that up.

Etsy.....love the place...hate uploading! ha!! Just have to do it...too much stuff piling up to load in there! Hang in there with us though...it will get done! ;)

Happy Birthday to Darby!!!

Just wanted to wish Darby a Happy Birthday. Its a day late.....I completely thought today was the 22nd...not the 23rd.....oops! So guess I should say..Happy Birthday and a day! :)

So, anxious for the weekend, check back soon, Darby and I are getting together to work on lots of stuff...so there will be pictures of all kinds of goodies posted over the weekend......Sassafras classes, Oriental Trading classes, kits, just all kinds of cool stuff.

Just spoke with Sassafras Lass about the door prizes they are sending us for CKC......oh my are they going to send us some great stuff....their stuff is...um...PURE DELIGHT ;)

So, off to get things packed and loaded up for my scrappy weekend with Darby. Going to stop and see some family on the way, drop off some "Chilly" kits at the Scrapbook Store, and catch up chatting with a great friend.....all things happy! Then Sunday, back home... Sunday is John and my 13th Anniversary...wow! So, it is gonna be a great weekend :)
