Lucky us ... I mean Lucky You!

Why are we so lucky?

Because we have 2 great companies sponsoring us for Creating Keepsakes Conventions 2008!

1. Oriental Trading Company, if you have not checked them out recently you need to take time to look around... they have the latest and greatest in new products, a fantastic line of papers and the nicest bunch of people you could ever imagine working with. They are graciously sponsoring 6 classes in St. Louis. (3 on Friday and 3 on Saturday) Wait til you see the goods... not only fabulous products but great prizes.

2. Sassafras Lass, can you say great company! They are letting us use 2 of their new lines of paper and embellishments. They are sponsoring 4 classes in St. Louis, 2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday. We will have some sneak previews of other upcoming stuff from them and some great prizes. Boyz Rawk (Boyz arrgh cool) and "Owl" be your friend forever!

Sass is in the house!

Having a blah day, and the doorbell rings....UPS guys...TWO of them unloading boxes....lots of yummy Sassafras Lass on my doorstep....gotta love that! Cheered me up a bit :) However broke Elson's heart that there was nothing for him!

My studio is a wreck, been working on a big project I hope to show you in a couple of days. Remember the big major kit I talked about? Well it is all over my studio and my family room! Keep watching!

I love to work late at night, hit a wall around midnight last night and couldn't think of anything to do what I needed, so sat down for a bit and watched a little CSI, got ready to go to bed went to turn off my ott lamp at my work table, and looked at that page sitting there....and it all fell together. My dear hubby came down to check on me at 3am to see what I was doing! yikes!! I was in the mojo mode and was so happy....paying for it now.....not enough coffee or diet coke in the world!

THE GOING ONS AROUND HERE :)

So I have been posting things to etsy like crazy.....took pictures of everything yesterday so I would have them all ready to go....I took 194 pictures! Yikes!! That is alot of things to put on. Granted they are multiple views of the same thing, but I think we have like 40 things to put on! Wowza!! So keep watching for all the new things....going to keep adding a few each day!

We have been busy preparing for the conventions as well, along with trying to customize the blog a little to get what all information we want posted on it. It has been fun, although I tried to do something to what Darby had posted and oops......really screwed it up.....so she had to fix.....sorry! :)

We are getting lots of traffic right now, hope to keep that up, that just encourages us to keep at the blog, and to introduce new things, along with offering giveaways and contests. We love to hear from you, so please let us know you are here! We get some emails, but we also love to get comments!! :) I know I am horrible at just stalking....and because I know how much I love seeing a comment, I have been trying to be better about leaving comments myself.

Things are still getting changed over to here, we do still have our old blog up and going until we finish getting things transferred. We just need 4 extra hours in the day! :)

I am also working on some new things that all of you that like kits are just going to love. These are going to be Paper Kandi Co kits and you will be able to find them on our Etsy store, I have so many things going on right now I am getting them all confused, but keep watching, they will appear soon! ;) These kits are geared towards getting pages done. That is all you are going to get from me about them until we post them! :) don't you just love a tease! ha!!

that is all for now, off to create! :)

**HAPPY NEW YEAR!!**

I hope everyone has had a great New Years Eve and Day! I can't let this post go with out saying GO TIGERS!!! We got up early to listen to all the pregame talk and then watched the game today....man what a game! MIZZOU!!! yeah!!!!

ok....now that that is out of the way....I have also been busy putting stuff together to put in our Etsy store, I might try to put it on tonight, or sometime tomorrow so keep watching :)

I am not even going to ask what your News Years Resolutions are....I made the resolution to not make any, (none to break that way! ha!!) so I won't ask what yours are. ;)

Just got finished moving my studio (again!) When we moved to Columbia we had a unfinished section in the basement that I thought would be perfect for my studio and the other half a playroom for Elson. Well that was the perfect space during the summer, but winter hit and we realized the vents don't blow in there and it was SUPER cold.....so we had to move the playroom and my studio out. That is done, things are for the most part put back together and I am once again back to working again...YEAH!! I had felt so lost without being able to CREATE, and my Christmas gifts really suffered since I wasn't able to get near as many made as I wanted....but I am ready to go now! I have completed a page kit for Susie at The Scrapbook Store a sparkly fun Christmas one...just perfect for your "Hollyday" pictures (yes that was a hint to the title) ;) I plan on doing one more tonight and sending them off by Friday at the latest, so be watching next week at the store!

So, that is the world of me right now.....happy to have spent all this time with my wonderful hubby and my little boy, happy we are all well and healthy, happy that this is going to be an awesome year, happy for my TIGERS, happy for my studio....I am just happy!!

Happy New Years to all!
